DESCRIPTION
HabiStat Carbon Printed Heat Mats produce an ultra-long wavelength of infra-red heat that is invisible to the human eye gently warming any surface it comes into contact with.
Heat Mats should always be run through the appropriate Thermostat such as the HabiStat Mat Stat or HabiStat Pulse Proportional Thermostat to regulate the temperature as they do get warm.
Heat Mats function similarly to the sun, heating up surfaces that they come into contact with. The gentle warmth allows animals to absorb heat by sitting directly under, next to, or on top of the warmed areas, as they would in their natural environment. It should be noted that heat mats give a gentle background heat. If you are keeping animals that requires higher temperatures, additional heat sources should be provided for these species. Many diurnal or day active species of lizard require basking spots of rather high localised heat. Heat mats are excellent heaters for most applications requiring night time heat.
Suitable for wall, roof or floor mounting – please refer to the instructions for controlling and positioning your heat mat.
Can be mounted unseen into almost any set up.
Once installed heating should be tested and monitored for a minimum of 48 hours prior to the introduction of livestock. Remember never install heating and leave it unattended.
Thin and flat, meaning they can be well hidden within any enclosure.

Any additional delivery costs may be settled via invoice. If you are unable to cover the additional cost, a full refund will be issued.

What is your returns policy?
If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that we can make an insurance claim against the carrier's insurers. Please contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation for you and organise a return of the damaged item.If you receive goods in damaged condition, that you deem as of unmerchantable quality, you must notify us by e-mail, post or telephone, within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Refunds will be made by the same method as that used for the original purchase.
If you change your mind about any items you have ordered from us, please notify us within 7 days of receipt and return the goods, complete and within unopened packaging for a full refund. In this event we will not normally refund your return postage and again a refund can only be made by the same method as that used for the original purchase. This option is not available on items paid for using vouchers, or purchased on a pre-pay payment scheme.
